Merpati Training Center (MTC) was formerly known as the employee training facility once called Flight Safety Training Center, owned by an airline company, Merpati Nusantara Airlines. Thus, the name changed to illustrate that MTC is also provides training in Trading, General and Aviation Management.
A significant growth in 1999 has made Merpati Training Center a Strategic Business Unit Merpati Nusantara Airlines when Indonesia Government gave a new operating license permit. With the adequate knowledge invested, Merpati Training Center has started to give an internal training in aviation for other Airline companies. Merpati Training Center is now trusted to give its aviation-training program for major national and international Airlines including Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU).
Currently, Merpati Training Center is preparing a database service for outsourcing human resources. Another recent program is training organizer for Merpati Training Center’s company partners to help them start their own training program.
Strategic Business Unit Merpati Training Center (MTC), is a Merpati Nusantara Airline's division that has duty to provide training for all employees of Merpati Nusantara Airlines. Founded in 1994 with formerly name Flight Safety Training, Merpati Training Center has conducted hundreds of training for Air Crew, Flight Attendant, Operation Staff, Commercial Staff, and Administration Staff.
In 1999 Management of Merpati decided to change Merpati Training Center into strategic business unit so MTC also provide training for other air transport related business organization. Many domestic and foreign based airlines have already become our customers.
